Warnborough College (UK) is a small independent British College for Adult Education. Warnborough College (UK) is IS09001:2000 and ISO27001:2005 Certified, and holds Investor in People status and is a member of IARC (International Accreditation and Recognition Council). Warnborough also holds the status in the UK of being an official examination centre (for over 20 years) for the American Education Testing Service and The College Board (Princeton, NJ) for students wishing to take their examinations (TOEFL, TSE, GRE,etc.).

ISO 9001:2000 Certification ~ Quality Management Systems

Warnborough College (UK) was certified in 2004 for ISO 9001:2000 by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited certification body (DAS). The scope covers: 'Design, Delivery and Assessment of Accredited Education and Training Services Worldwide'  (NACE Code: 37 Education). The College is legally entitled to display the UK 'Tick & Crown' logo to provide visual assurance of its Quality Management Systems.

ISO 9001:2000 meets international standards, and is recognised by governments, universities, industry and the professions in 146 countries including the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.  More and more colleges and universities around the world are applying for this status.

ISO 27001:2005 Certification ~ Security Management Systems

In October, Warnborough College (UK) became the first college in the UK to achieve ISO 27001:2005 certification by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). ISO 27001 is the new international standard for Information Security Management System (ISMS).

This is particularly pertinent to educational institutions where confidential student and faculty records, marketing strategies, IT systems, and management policies need to be protected against unlawful access, accidental loss, or destruction. ISMS creates a framework to meet the requirements of the 1998 UK Data Protection Act, the Computer Misuse Act 1990, the Human Rights Act 1998, and the Copyright, Design and Patent Act. This framework is designed to be implemented anywhere in the world, and one that incorporates widely recognised best practice.

Our key quality objectives are the increased satisfaction of our students and customers, measured by the continued expansion of Warnborough College (UK) student and customer numbers, continued expansion of courses, and the improvement of our quality management system through the effective implementation of organisational processes and best practice.

Association of Business Executives (ABE)

Warnborough College (UK) is accredited by the ABE to run various programmes leading to ABE qualifications at certificate, diploma and advanced diploma levels.

Investor in People

Warnborough College (UK) was awarded the prestigious Investor in People (IiP) standard in April 2005. IiP is a UK government-backed initiative to help organisations to be more successful by adhering to good practice for the training and development of staff.

Warnborough College (UK) has a long history of commitment to academic quality, student welfare and staff development. IiP provides a practical tool for internal and external reviews for continuous improvement. The benchmark for achieving IiP is high, and not easily awarded. Institute of Certified Bookkeepers ~ ICB

Warnborough College (UK) was certified as an Acrredited Training Centre for the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in October 2007.

ICB is the larget bookkeeping Institue in the world. It’s objectives are to promote and maintain the standards of bookkeeping as a profession, through the establishment of a series of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of memberships that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.

ICB qualifications are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculm Authority (QCA) and the regulatory authorities in Wales and Northern Ireland.

Australian Counselling Association

Warnborough College (UK) Diploma in Counselling and Psychology is recognised as meeting the training standards of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).Approval and recognition of this diploma was granted in October 2007 by ACA.

The Australian Counselling Association (ACA) s the peak body for registration purposes for counsellors in Australia. It is also, a National progressive professional association of counsellors and psychotherapists with over 3000 individual members.

The ACA is primarily concerned with national registration, industry standards, creating employment for counsellors, Medicare & health fund rebates and formal recognition of counselling as an Allied Health profession. ACA is an independent association that offers member services and benefits second to none. ACA is the "voice of counsellors".
